Oak Suite Sauna

Oak Suite is for the renovation that will not tolerate an appliance. The exterior is clad in vertical pale oak matched to your joinery, the doors are brass-framed glass, and the whole cabin sits flush within a stud opening so it reads as part of the architecture. Inside, the specification is unchanged from our traditional cabins: aspen benches, a stone heater, concealed warm lighting. Choose it when the sauna must sit in a hallway, dressing room or ensuite that is already designed.

Closed, it is a run of oak doors. Open, the interior glows and the hallway becomes a spa. That switch is the entire point of the piece.

Fifteen to twenty minutes of heat, three or four evenings a week, ideally followed by cold and then by stillness. Most owners find the routine settles into the hour before sleep.
