Scandia Oak Plunge

Scandia pairs two materials that rarely appear together: a warm pale-oak exterior in coopered staves, and a seamless 316 stainless liner that is easy to sanitise and holds temperature accurately. The insulated lid sits flush and is light enough to lift with one hand. It suits bright, linen-and-birch interiors where a black or steel vessel would feel cold in the wrong way.

It looks like a piece of furniture until the lid comes off. The steel makes the cold feel cleaner, somehow — less like a tub, more like water.
